Mistida
Mistida delves into the living memory of the former women fighters of the war for independence in Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde, to reclaim fragments of history in the feminine. Whether by choice or against their will, they went to war in pursuit of a better and more equal future, in a necessary imperative that led them to fight alongside their fellow men. Mistida crosses war accounts with portraits of daily life,
reconstructing life stories while revealing the inheritance of time.
